The Power of human spirit

It is 1952. Sir Edmund Hillary stands on the stage, the audience is applauding him and his incredible attempt to climb the highest mountain of the world; but he is not smiling. It was the first attempt to conquer the Mount Everest - unsuccessful attempt. Sir Edmund is escaping from the microphone but not from his dreams. He's pointing his fist at the mountain poster and says "Mount Everest, you beat me the first time, but I'll beat you the next time because you've grown all you are going to grow but I'm still growing".

This is the moment when the fighting spirit won, when Sir Edmund believed in his unlimited potential.

The following year, on 29th May 1953 Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay became the first men to climb the Mount Everest.

Sir Edmund Hillary, his journey to Himalaya and both poles inspired me to look into the subject of human potential; unlimited potential that we are not always aware of.

I am convinced that we are experts in our own fate and only we know what is best for us; with the right support we dare to reach for more and discover the full potential that lies deeply in us. It is often a "blind spot", something that you cannot see, cannot believe in, are afraid to reveal.

Out of that inspiration, came the idea for the name "Your Everest Coaching". It is because you have a goal - "Everest" to climb and conquer, and journey up the hill is your path finder for success through your doubts, limitations, moments of disbelief and questioning everything you know.

In this process, coach become a companion, like Sherpa Tenzing to Sir Edmund. A companion whose presence is not always comfortable, but it is always necessary. Only by discovering your "blind spot" you can move forward. Coaching gives you space to discover and create your path "up the hill", to ignite your true potential.
